I can summarize Amy as my coach as inspiring, enlightening, compassionate and uplifting.  I felt a tug in my heart that if I am to grow in my spiritual walk, as a woman, wife, mother, businessperson, I needed to step up in all these areas.  “But I can’t do it alone Lord?”  And then you offered the coaching program. I knew was for me! I know in my heart, that to achieve my goals and dreams, I need to have discipline, commitment, compassion, and strength, all of these while waiting on God and I see all of in you. Working with you as my personal coach has been truly enlightening. Together, we have delved into areas of my life that were holding me back, such as fear, resentment, and guilt.

Through our exploration, I have learned to pray about these areas and rely on the word of God to overcome these negative emotions. I now recognize that these thoughts come from the enemy, and I embrace the truth that God loves me and sees me as wonderfully and fearfully made. Criticizing myself is like criticizing Him, and I choose to show myself love, compassion, and understanding, mirroring the true character of God When I look back to our interactions and communications, I see your compassion. You are understanding, encouraging and patient and this helps me to open and be free to really dig into the nitty gritty of things, to open to share and work on the ugly, so that Jesus can convert my ashes for beauty. 

However, you have helped me realize nothing will change unless I do the work required and am willing to improve and evolve. I feel uplifted and energized when I work with you. You provide me with ideas and actions steps that help me focus on the task at hand. Like the time I told you about my plans to travel and do other things with the kids and how that was causing anxiety, because I wanted to be able to do it all. But you reminded me that He is the one in control. That I should pray over my goals and dreams and to include my children and husband. I took your advice. We cancelled one of the trips and were able to focus on the bigger trip, which took our family to Europe, and we had the time of our lives. You also said that without a vision there cannot be a plan. 

I am now waiting for my vision, being quiet, spending time with the Lord and listening, visualizing it. This has been powerful for me. To summarize, you provide the guidance and accountability that I need with in a Christian and spiritual context, couple with no condemnation or judgment allows me to grow. I thank you for your commitment to help others and for being cleared in your gifts so that you can give back to God’s other children. I once heard this phrase that I think describes what I mean. “Other people’s blessings are my success.”
